TRAINING AND FELLOWSHIP in Singapore

We invite applications from doctors and related medical scientists for training at the Singapore General Hospital.

SGH is the largest and main teaching hospital in Singapore for postgraduate and advanced training of specialist doctors. We have a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and ambulatory specialties. We also accept requests from overseas doctors who wish to undertake fellowship and short training courses in our Hospital.

Fellowships
We offer the SGH Clinical Fellowships (for foreign medical specialists) and SGH Research Fellowships, mainly for doctors in the ASEAN region who wish to train or undertake research in any one of our clinical departments. These two Fellowships are offered once a year. Other fellowships offered are Orthopaedic Fellowship Programme, SGH Research Fellowship in Experimental Surgery, Fellowships in Anaesthesia, Goh Cheng Liang Urology Fellowship, and SGH Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology.


Training
Training is available in these categories:

* Clinical Attachment
* Research Fellowship

Generally, no training fee is levied on applicants who seek training positions in SGH, however, SGH reserves the right to levy charges if necessary.

SGH-PGMI is the coordinating body between the applicant and the clinical department and between the successful applicant and the local regulatory agencies, e.g. the Singapore Medical Council, Immigration, etc. Applicants can look forward to seamless administrative service provided by us.
